Born and raised in Nebraska, Tyson now lives on the Washington state coast where he works as a nurse. He began writing poetry in search of fluent self-expression, something he struggles with as a person who stutters. It's on the page that he's found his voice, and it's his hope to not only be read, but, ultimately, to be heard.
